Why this page exists
AurumX is built around randomised outcomes for real money. We take that seriously. Even when the underlying product is collectible precious metal — not chips on a felt — the loop of “pay, watch, win or lose, decide whether to do it again” can become a problem if you’re not paying attention.
If any of the warning signs below sound familiar, or if someone close to you has expressed concern, please use the limits below or step away from the app.
Warning signs
You may have a problem if you:
- Feel compelled to open packs even when you can’t afford to.
- Try to recover losses by opening more packs (“chasing”).
- Lie to family, friends, or yourself about how much you’ve spent.
- Spend more time on the app than you’d planned to.
- Borrow money, sell things, or skip bills to fund more opens.
- Feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you can’t play.
- Have tried to cut back or stop, and failed.
Tools we offer
Deposit limits (coming soon)
You’ll be able to set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit caps. Once set, you can decrease a limit immediately, but increases take 24 hours to take effect — a deliberate friction so the decision happens with a clear head.
Time-out (coming soon)
Pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or a custom period. During the time-out you cannot open packs, deposit funds, or shop the market.
Self-exclusion
Email support@aurumxgold.app with the subject “Self-exclusion request” and the duration (minimum 6 months, or permanent). We will:
- Lock your account against any further opens or deposits within 24 hours.
- Refund any unused balance to your original payment method.
- Not solicit you with marketing for the duration of the exclusion.
- Refuse to reopen the account before the exclusion ends, even at your request.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account → Delete my account). Deletion removes your profile, addresses, and vault contents. If you have an active self-exclusion, contact support before deleting so the exclusion period carries forward against any future sign-up attempt.
Built-in protections
We also have these on by default for everyone:
- No bonuses on losses. We never offer “your money back” or matched-deposit promotions tied to recent losses.
- Hot-streak cooldown. After a small number of jackpot/ultra-rare hits in close succession, the server enforces a brief cool-down between opens. This is to protect the bankroll from chasing big multipliers on small probabilities.
- Whale protections. Daily and cumulative deposit ceilings cap how much any one account can put in within a 24-hour window.
- No instant top-up CTAs after losses. You won’t see “add funds” pushed at you immediately after a sub-floor pull.
- Profile screen hides cumulative losses. We deliberately don’t surface “total spent” or “net P&L” on your account screen; behavioural research is clear that those numbers intensify chasing.
